Biyana Espero

My name is Biyana Espero, and I am the co-founder of the Military Alliance Network.

The idea for this service began in the early 1990s when the US military intervened and helped many families, including my own, while my home country of Croatia was experiencing conflict. Since moving to the United States, I have looked for different ways to show my gratitude for their help.

Through my collaboration with my longtime colleague and Military Alliance Network co-founder, Ron Stephens, we found a way to do just that.

Combined, we have over 40 years of experience working with the military community and believe our charitable organization will serve those who deserve wellness services they may have been denied.

In addition to being a proud military spouse, I am currently working on completing a second master’s degree in Social Work at Arizona State University. My work with the military community involves working in educational, counseling, and substance services, as well as my volunteer work with The American Red Cross.

I am incredibly passionate about the opportunity to provide services to active-duty Veterans and their families who have served or are currently serving this nation.
